Description

The Resophonic string collection is part of a unique series of strings for resophonic guitars of Czech origin, developed with expert support and growing interest among players in this musically uncommon instrument within the Central European region.

This collection is introduced in memory of John (Ján) Dopyera (1893–1988), a Slovak-born inventor who lived in the USA and was the first in the world to patent his invention – the resophonic guitar (Dobro) – in 1926. Since its creation, this instrument has been a source of inspiration for many musicians, especially in bluegrass. On this commemorative occasion, we hope that our string collection becomes a valuable addition and a new source of musical inspiration for you as well.
