A banjo guitar is a six-string musical instrument with a distinctive sound connected with country music. The tuning is similar to that of an acoustic guitar, but the instrument requires a different musical style and strings designed specifically for it.
GORSTRINGS, a Czech manufacturer of musical strings, brings you a whole range of original banjo guitar strings, from traditional models to today's most technically modern ones. Two of the models retain the older proven technical details of retro strings (1960–2000); the other four models represent completely new sets of strings that use today's high-quality production materials and modern wrapping technologies. Special emphasis is placed on the life of the strings, for the first time with the use of nanomaterials and a surface finish using a unique GOR-nanocapsule system. The surface of the strings is thus protected by an effective nanofilm, especially against the negative effects of an alkaline environment and oxidation, and a completely new generation of strings is created – OPTISTRINGS, with a longer life, while maintaining natural tactile properties and a wider selection of hardness for the desired sound performance as well as pleasant comfortable playing.
